ʻIsikieli 44

1Then he brought me back to the outer gate of the sanctuary, which faces east. And it was shut.
1HILI ia naʻa ne toe ʻomi au ki mui ʻi he hala ʻoe matapā ʻoe potu tapu kituʻa, ʻaia ʻoku hanga ki hahake; pea naʻe tāpuni ia.
2And the LORD said to me, “This gate shall remain shut; it shall not be opened, and no one shall enter by it, for the LORD, the God of Israel, has entered by it. Therefore it shall remain shut.
2Pea naʻe pehē ai ʻe Sihova kiate au; “ʻE tāpuni ʻae matapā ni, pea ʻe ʻikai fakaava ia, pea ʻe ʻikai ha tangata ʻe atu ki ai; he koeʻuhi kuo hāʻele atu ai ʻa Sihova, ko e ʻOtua ʻo ʻIsileli, ko ia ʻe tāpuni ai ia.
3Only the prince may sit in it to eat bread before the LORD. He shall enter by way of the vestibule of the gate, and shall go out by the same way.”
3Kuo tuku ia ki he tuʻi; ʻe nofo ʻi ai ʻae tuʻi ke kai ʻi he ʻao ʻo Sihova; ko ia ia ʻe atu ʻi he hala ʻoe fale hala ʻi he matapā ko ia, pea te ne toe ʻalu atu ai pe kituʻa.”
4Then he brought me by way of the north gate to the front of the temple, and I looked, and behold, the glory of the LORD filled the temple of the LORD. And I fell on my face.
4Hili ia naʻa ne ʻomi au ki he hala ʻi he matapā ki tokelau ʻi he mata fale: pea naʻaku sio, pea vakai, naʻe fakapito ʻaki ʻae fale ʻo Sihova ʻae nāunau ʻo Sihova; pea naʻaku hifo ki hoku mata.
5And the LORD said to me, “Son of man, mark well, see with your eyes, and hear with your ears all that I shall tell you concerning all the statutes of the temple of the LORD and all its laws. And mark well the entrance to the temple and all the exits from the sanctuary.
5Pea naʻe pehē ʻe Sihova kiate au, “Foha ʻoe tangata, tokanga lahi ho loto, pea sio ʻaki ho mata, pea fanongo ho telinga ki he meʻa kotoa pē, ʻoku ou lea ʻaki kiate koe ʻi he ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni, ʻoku kau ki he fale ʻo Sihova, mo hono ngaahi fekau; pea ke tokanga lahi ki he ngaahi hūʻanga ki loto fale, mo hono ngaahi hala kotoa kituʻa, mei he potu toputapu.”
6And say to the rebellious house, to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord GOD: O house of Israel, enough of all your abominations,
6Pea te ke lea ki he kau angatuʻu, ki he fale ʻo ʻIsileli, “ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua; ʻE fale ʻo ʻIsileli, tuku ke lahi eni ʻa hoʻomou ngaahi fakalielia,
7in admitting foreigners, uncircumcised in heart and flesh, to be in my sanctuary, profaning my temple, when you offer to me my food, the fat and the blood. You have broken my covenant, in addition to all your abominations.
7He kuo mou ʻomi ʻae kakai muli, ʻae kau taʻekamu ʻi loto, pea taʻekamu fakakakano ke nau ʻi hoku potu toputapu ke nau fakalieliaʻi ia, ʻio, ʻa hoku fale, ʻi hoʻomou ʻatu ʻa ʻeku meʻa, ʻae ngako, pea mo e toto, pea kuo nau maumauʻi ʻa ʻeku fuakava, ko e meʻa ʻi heʻenau ngaahi fakalielia.
8And you have not kept charge of my holy things, but you have set others to keep my charge for you in my sanctuary.
8Pea kuo ʻikai te mou tauhi ʻa ʻeku ngaahi meʻa māʻoniʻoni; ka kuo mou fakanofo ʻae kau leʻo maʻamoutolu pe, ke tauhiʻi ʻa hoku potu toputapu.
9“Thus says the Lord GOD: No foreigner, uncircumcised in heart and flesh, of all the foreigners who are among the people of Israel, shall enter my sanctuary.
9ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua; “ʻE ʻikai ha taha muli, pe ha taʻekamu ʻi loto, pe ha taʻekamu fakakakano, ʻe ki hoku potu toputapu, pe ha taha ʻi he kau muli kotoa ʻoku nofo mo e fānau ʻa ʻIsileli.”
10But the Levites who went far from me, going astray from me after their idols when Israel went astray, shall bear their punishment.
10Pea ko e kau Livai naʻe ʻalu ʻo mamaʻo meiate au, ʻi heʻene ʻalu hēhē ʻa ʻIsileli, ʻaia naʻe ʻalu meiate au, ko e muimui ki honau ngaahi tamapua; te nau fua pe ʻekinautolu ʻa ʻenau fai angahala.
11They shall be ministers in my sanctuary, having oversight at the gates of the temple and ministering in the temple. They shall slaughter the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before the people, to minister to them.
11Ka neongo ia te nau tauhi ʻa hoku fale tapu, mo leʻohi ʻae ngaahi matapā ʻoe fale, mo fai ʻae ngāue ʻi loto fale: te nau tāmateʻi ʻae feilaulau tutu, mo e feilaulau ʻae kakai, pea te nau tutuʻu ʻi honau ʻao, mo ngāue kiate kinautolu.
12Because they ministered to them before their idols and became a stumbling block of iniquity to the house of Israel, therefore I have sworn concerning them, declares the Lord GOD, and they shall bear their punishment.
12Koeʻuhi naʻa nau ngāue kiate kinautolu ʻi he ʻao ʻo honau ngaahi tamapua, mo nau fakahalaʻi ʻae fale ʻo ʻIsileli; ko ia kuo u hiki hake ai ʻa hoku nima kiate kinautolu, ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua, pea te nau fua ʻenau angahala.
13They shall not come near to me, to serve me as priest, nor come near any of my holy things and the things that are most holy, but they shall bear their shame and the abominations that they have committed.
13Pea ʻe ʻikai te nau haʻu ke ofi kiate au, ke fai ha ngāue fakataulaʻeiki kiate au, pe te nau ofi mai ki heʻeku ngaahi meʻa māʻoniʻoni, ʻi he potu toputapu ʻaupito: ka te nau fua pe ʻenau mā, pea mo e ngaahi fakalielia ʻaia kuo nau fai.
14Yet I will appoint them to keep charge of the temple, to do all its service and all that is to be done in it.
14Ka te u tuku ʻakinautolu ke tauhi ki he nāunau ʻoe fale, ʻi hono ngāue ʻo ia, mo ia kotoa ʻe fai ʻi ai.
15“But the Levitical priests, the sons of Zadok, who kept the charge of my sanctuary when the people of Israel went astray from me, shall come near to me to minister to me. And they shall stand before me to offer me the fat and the blood, declares the Lord GOD.
15“Ka ko e kau taulaʻeiki ʻae kau Livai, ko e ngaahi foha ʻo Satoki, ʻakinautolu naʻe tauhi ki hoku fale tapu, ʻi heʻene ʻalu pehē ʻae fānau ʻa ʻIsileli meiate au, ko kinautolu ia ʻe ʻomi ke ofi kiate au, ke nau tauhi kiate au, pea te nau tutuʻu ʻi hoku ʻao, ke feilaulau ʻaki kiate au, ʻae ngako mo e toto, ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua:
16They shall enter my sanctuary, and they shall approach my table, to minister to me, and they shall keep my charge.
16Te nau atu ki hoku potu tapu, pea te nau ʻunuʻunu mai ke ofi ki heʻeku keinangaʻanga, ke fai ngāue kiate au, pea te nau tauhi ʻa ʻeku fekau.
17When they enter the gates of the inner court, they shall wear linen garments. They shall have nothing of wool on them, while they minister at the gates of the inner court, and within.
17Pea ʻe hoko ia ʻo pehē, ʻoka nau ka atu ʻi he ngaahi matapā ʻoe lotoʻā ki loto, te nau kofuʻaki ʻae kofu tupenu lelei; ʻe ʻikai siʻi kau ha kofu sipi ki heʻenau kofu, ʻoka nau ka fai ʻae ngāue ʻi he ngaahi matapā ʻoe lotoʻā ki loto, pe ʻi loto.
18They shall have linen turbans on their heads, and linen undergarments around their waists. They shall not bind themselves with anything that causes sweat.
18Te nau tatā ʻaki ʻae tupenu lelei ki honau ʻulu, pea te nau kofuʻaki ʻae tupenu lelei ki honau kongaloto; ʻe ʻikai te nau ʻai kiate kinautolu ha meʻa ʻoku fakatupu pupuha.
19And when they go out into the outer court to the people, they shall put off the garments in which they have been ministering and lay them in the holy chambers. And they shall put on other garments, lest they transmit holiness to the people with their garments.
19Pea ka nau ka ʻalu atu ki he lotoʻā kituʻa, ʻio, ki he lotoʻā kituʻa ki he kakai, te nau toʻo honau ngaahi kofu naʻa nau ngāue ai, mo tuku ia ʻi he ngaahi potu fale māʻoniʻoni, pea te nau ʻai ʻae ngaahi kofu kehe; pea ʻe ʻikai te nau fakamāʻoniʻoniʻi ʻae kakai ʻi honau ngaahi kofu.
20They shall not shave their heads or let their locks grow long; they shall surely trim the hair of their heads.
20Pea ʻe ʻikai te nau tekefua, pea ʻe ʻikai te nau tuku ke lōloa honau louʻulu, ka ʻe kosikosi pe ke nounou.
21No priest shall drink wine when he enters the inner court.
21Pea ʻe ʻikai siʻi inu ha uaine ʻe ha taulaʻeiki ʻoka fai ʻe ia ke ki he lotoʻā ki loto.
22They shall not marry a widow or a divorced woman, but only virgins of the offspring of the house of Israel, or a widow who is the widow of a priest.
22Pea ʻe ʻikai te nau ʻunoho ʻaki ha fefine kuo mate ʻa hono ʻunoho, pe ha taha kuo fakamavae: ka te nau ʻunoho mo e kau finemui ʻi he hako ʻoe fale ʻo ʻIsileli, pe ko e fefine naʻe ʻunoho mo ha taulaʻeiki kuo pekia.
23They shall teach my people the difference between the holy and the common, and show them how to distinguish between the unclean and the clean.
23Pea te nau akoʻi ʻa hoku kakai ke ʻilo ʻaia ʻoku māʻoniʻoni mo ia ʻoku kovi, mo nau fakahā ke mahino kiate kinautolu ʻae meʻa ʻoku taʻemaʻa mo ia ʻoku maʻa.
24In a dispute, they shall act as judges, and they shall judge it according to my judgments. They shall keep my laws and my statutes in all my appointed feasts, and they shall keep my Sabbaths holy.
24Pea ka ai ha fakakikihi, ko kinautolu ia ʻe tuʻu ko hono fakamaauʻi; pea te nau fakamaauʻi ia ʻo fakatatau ki heʻeku fakamaau: pea te nau fai ʻa ʻeku ngaahi fono mo ʻeku ngaahi fekau ʻi he ngaahi fakataha kotoa ʻoku fai kiate au; pea te nau fakamāʻoniʻoniʻi ʻa hoku ngaahi ʻaho tapu.
25They shall not defile themselves by going near to a dead person. However, for father or mother, for son or daughter, for brother or unmarried sister they may defile themselves.
26After he has become clean, they shall count seven days for him.
26Pea hili hono fakamaʻa ia, te nau lau kiate ia ha ʻaho ʻe fitu.
27And on the day that he goes into the Holy Place, into the inner court, to minister in the Holy Place, he shall offer his sin offering, declares the Lord GOD.
27Pea ʻi he ʻaho ko ia ʻoku ne atu ai ki he potu tapu, ki he lotoʻā ki loto, ke ngāue ʻi he potu tapu, ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua, te ne feilaulau ʻaki maʻana ha feilaulau ʻi he angahala.
28“This shall be their inheritance: I am their inheritance: and you shall give them no possession in Israel; I am their possession.
28Pea ʻe hoko ia ko e tofiʻa kiate kinautolu: ko au ko honau tofiʻa: pea ko ia ʻe ʻikai vahe ai hanau tofiʻa ʻi ʻIsileli: he ko honau tofiʻa au.
29They shall eat the grain offering, the sin offering, and the guilt offering, and every devoted thing in Israel shall be theirs.
29Te nau kai mei he feilaulau ʻoe meʻakai, mo e feilaulau koeʻuhi ko e angahala, mo e feilaulau ʻi he fai hala; pea ʻe ʻanautolu ʻae meʻa kotoa ʻoku feilaulau ʻaki ʻi ʻIsileli.
30And the first of all the firstfruits of all kinds, and every offering of all kinds from all your offerings, shall belong to the priests. You shall also give to the priests the first of your dough, that a blessing may rest on your house.
30Pea ʻe ʻi he kau taulaʻeiki ʻae ʻuluaki vahe ʻi he ʻuluaki fua ʻoe meʻa kotoa pē, mo e feilaulau kotoa ʻi hoʻomou feilaulau kehekehe: te mou ʻatu foki ki he kau taulaʻeiki ʻae ʻuluaki vahe ʻo hoʻomou kuo natu, koeʻuhi ke hoko ai mo nofomaʻu ʻae tāpuaki ki homou fale.
31The priests shall not eat of anything, whether bird or beast, that has died of itself or is torn by wild animals.
31‌ʻE ʻikai kai ʻe he taulaʻeiki ʻi ha meʻa kuo mate mahaki pe, pe ʻi ha meʻa kuo haehae pe ko ha manupuna pe ko ha manu kehe ia.”
