Saame 132

1Remember, O LORD, in David’s favor, all the hardships he endured,
1‌ʻE SIHOVA, ke ke manatu kia Tevita, mo ʻene mamahi kotoa pē:
2how he swore to the LORD and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob,
2‌ʻA ʻene fuakava kia Sihova, mo ʻene lea fakapapau ki he ʻOtua mālohi ʻa Sēkope;
3“I will not enter my house or get into my bed,
3“Ko e moʻoni ʻe ʻikai te u ʻalu ki hoku fale nofoʻanga, pe ʻalu hake ki hoku mohenga;
4I will not give sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids,
4‌ʻE ʻikai te u tuku ʻae mohe ki hoku mata, pe ko e tulemohe ki hoku laumata,
5until I find a place for the LORD, a dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob.”
5Kaeʻoua ke u ʻilo ha potu moʻo Sihova, ko e ʻafioʻanga ki he ʻOtua mālohi ʻo Sēkope.”
6Behold, we heard of it in Ephrathah; we found it in the fields of Jaar.
6Vakai, naʻa tau fanongo ki ai ʻi ʻEfalata: pea naʻa tau ʻilo ia ʻi he ngaahi ngoue ʻoe vao.
7“Let us go to his dwelling place; let us worship at his footstool!”
7“Te tau ki hono ngaahi fale fehikitaki: te tau lotu ʻi hono tuʻunga vaʻe.”
8Arise, O LORD, and go to your resting place, you and the ark of your might.
8Tuʻu hake, ʻE Sihova, ki ho mālōlōʻanga; ʻa koe, mo e puha ʻoe fuakava ʻo ho mālohi.
9Let your priests be clothed with righteousness, and let your saints shout for joy.
9Ke kofuʻaki ʻe hoʻo kau taulaʻeiki ʻae angatonu; pea ke kalanga ʻi he fiefia ʻa hoʻo kakai māʻoniʻoni.
10For the sake of your servant David, do not turn away the face of your anointed one.
10Koeʻuhi ko hoʻo tamaioʻeiki ko Tevita, ʻoua naʻa ke fakatafoki ʻae mata ʻo hoʻo pani.
11The LORD swore to David a sure oath from which he will not turn back: “One of the sons of your body I will set on your throne.
11Kuo fuakava ʻa Sihova ʻi he moʻoni kia Tevita; ʻe ʻikai te ne liliu mei ai; “Te u fokotuʻu ki ho nofoʻa ʻae fua ʻo ho sino.
12If your sons keep my covenant and my testimonies that I shall teach them, their sons also forever shall sit on your throne.”
12Kapau ʻe fai ʻe hoʻo fānau ki heʻeku fuakava mo ʻeku fakamoʻoni ʻaia te u ako kiate kinautolu, ʻe nofo foki ʻenau fānau ʻi ho nofoʻa fakaʻeiʻeiki ʻo lauikuonga.”
13For the LORD has chosen Zion; he has desired it for his dwelling place:
13He kuo fili ʻe Sihova ʻa Saione; kuo ne finangalo ki ai ko hono ʻafioʻanga.
14“This is my resting place forever; here I will dwell, for I have desired it.
14“Ko hoku mālōlōʻanga eni ʻo taʻengata: te u nofo ʻi heni; he naʻaku finangalo ki ai.
15I will abundantly bless her provisions; I will satisfy her poor with bread.
15Ko e moʻoni te u tāpuaki lahi hono meʻakai: te u fakamākona ʻa hono kau masiva ʻaki ʻae mā.
16Her priests I will clothe with salvation, and her saints will shout for joy.
16Te u fakakofu foki ʻene kau taulaʻeiki ʻaki ʻae fakamoʻui: pea ko ʻene kau māʻoniʻoni tenau kalanga ʻo leʻo lahi ʻi he fiefia.
17There I will make a horn to sprout for David; I have prepared a lamp for my anointed.
17Te u ngaohi ke moto ai ʻae nifo ʻo Tevita: kuo u tuʻutuʻuni ʻae maama ʻa ʻeku pani.
18His enemies I will clothe with shame, but on him his crown will shine.”
18Te u fakakofuʻaki hono ngaahi fili ʻae mā: ka ʻe maʻuiʻui ʻa hono tatā ʻiate ia.”
