Fakahā 22
1Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb
2through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
2ʻI he loto hala lahi ʻo ia, pea ʻi hono kauvai fakatouʻosi, naʻe ʻi ai ʻae ʻakau ʻoe moʻui, naʻe tupu ai ʻae fua kehekehe ʻe hongofulu ma ua, pea fua ia ʻi he māhina kotoa pē: pea ko hono louʻakau, ko e meʻa fakamoʻui ʻoe ngaahi puleʻanga.
3No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him.
3Pea ʻe ʻikai kei ai ha malaʻia: he ko e ʻafioʻanga ʻoe ʻOtua mo e Lami ʻe tuʻu ʻi ai; pea ʻe tauhi ia ʻe heʻene kau tamaioʻeiki:
4They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.
4Pea te nau mamata ki hono fofonga pea ʻe ʻi honau foʻi laʻē ʻa hono huafa.
5And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.
6And he said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants what must soon take place.”
6Pea naʻe pehē mai ʻe ia kiate au, “ʻOku totonu mo moʻoni ʻae ngaahi lea ni: pea ko e ʻEiki ko e ʻOtua ʻoe kau palōfita māʻoniʻoni,” Kuo ne fekau ʻene ʻāngelo ke fakahā ki heʻene kau tamaioʻeiki ʻae ngaahi meʻa ʻe toʻotoʻo ʻa hono fai.
7“And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
7“Vakai, ʻoku ou haʻu vave: ʻoku monūʻia ia ʻoku ne fai ʻae ngaahi lea ʻoe kikite ʻoe tohi ni.”
8I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me,
8Pea ko au Sione, ne u mamata mo fanongo ki he ngaahi meʻa ni. Pea ʻi heʻeku fanongo mo mamata, ne u foʻohifo ke hū ʻi he vaʻe ʻoe ʻāngelo naʻa ne fakahā kiate au ʻae ngaahi meʻa ni.
9but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”
9Pea pehē mai ʻe ia kiate au, “Vakai ke ʻoua: he ko hoʻo kaungā tamaioʻeiki au, pea ʻoku ou ʻi ho kāinga ko e kau palōfita, pea ʻokinautolu ʻoku nau fai ʻae ngaahi lea ʻoe tohi ni: hū ki he ʻOtua.”
10And he said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.
10Pea pehē ʻe ia kiate au, “ʻOua naʻa ke fakamaʻu ʻae ngaahi lea ʻoe kikite ʻi he tohi ni: he kuo ofi hono kuonga.
11Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.”
11Ko ia ʻoku taʻeangatonu, tuku ia ke taʻeangatonu ai pe: pea ko ia ʻoku ʻuli, tuku ia ke ʻuli ai pe: pea ko ia ʻoku angatonu, tuku ia ke angatonu ai pe: pea ko ia ʻoku māʻoniʻoni, tuku ia ke māʻoniʻoni ai pe.”
12“Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay everyone for what he has done.
12Pea vakai, “ʻOku ou haʻu vave; pea ʻoku ʻiate au ʻeku totongi ke ʻatu ki he kakai taki taha ʻo fakatatau ki heʻene ngāue.”
13I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
13Ko au ko e ʻAlifa mo ʻOmeka, ko e kamataʻanga mo e ngataʻanga, ko e ʻuluaki mo e kimui.
14Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates.
14ʻOku monūʻia ʻakinautolu ʻoku fai ʻene ngaahi fekau, koeʻuhi ke ngofua kiate kinautolu ʻae ʻakau ʻoe moʻui, pea nau hū ʻi he ngaahi matapā ki he kolo.
15Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
15He ʻoku ʻi tuaʻā ʻae fanga kulī, mo e kau fiemana, mo e kau feʻauaki, mo e kau fakapō, mo e kau tauhi tamapua, mo ia kotoa pē ʻoku ʻofa mo fakatupu loi.
16“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”
16“Ko au Sisu, kuo u fekau ʻeku ʻāngelo ke fakahā atu kiate kimoutolu ʻae ngaahi meʻa ni ʻi he ngaahi siasi. Ko au ko e aka mo e hako ʻo Tevita, pea ko e fetuʻu ngingila ʻoe pongipongi.”
17The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.
17Pea ʻoku pehē ʻe he Laumālie mo e taʻahine, “Haʻu.” Pea ke pehē mo ia ʻoku ne fanongo, “Haʻu.” Pea mo ia ʻoku fieinua, ke haʻu ia. Pea ko ia ʻoku loto ki ai, ke ne toʻo taʻetotongi ʻe ia ʻae vai ʻoe moʻui.
18I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book,
18He ʻoku ou fakahā ki he kakai kotoa pē ʻoku fanongo ki he ngaahi lea ʻoe kikite ʻi he tohi ni, Kapau ʻe fakalahi ʻe ha tangata ki he ngaahi meʻa ni, ʻe fakalahi ʻe he ʻOtua kiate ia ʻi he ngaahi malaʻia kuo tohi ʻi he tohi ni:
19and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
19Pea kapau ʻe toʻo ʻe ha tangata mei he ngaahi lea ʻoe tohi ʻoe kikite ni, ʻe toʻo ʻe he ʻOtua ʻa hono ʻinasi mei he tohi ʻoe moʻui, pea mei he kolo māʻoniʻoni, pea mo e ngaahi meʻa kuo tohi ʻi he tohi ni.
20He who testifies to these things says,“Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
20Ko ia ʻoku ne fakahā ʻae ngaahi meʻa ni; ʻoku pehē ʻe ia, “Ko e moʻoni ʻoku ou haʻu vave;” ʻEmeni. ʻIo, ke pehē, ʻEiki Sisu, ke ke hāʻele mai.
21The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.
21Ko e ʻaloʻofa ʻa hotau ʻEiki ko Sisu Kalaisi ke ʻiate kimoutolu kotoa pē. ʻEmeni.
