Saame 108
1My heart is steadfast, O God! I will sing and make melody with all my being!
1ʻE ʻOTUA, kuo maʻu hoku loto; te u hiva mo ʻatu ʻae fakamālō ʻaki hoku nāunau.
2Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn!
2Ke ʻā hake ʻae saliteli mo e haʻape: te u ʻa hengihengi hake pe au.
3I will give thanks to you, O LORD, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations.
3ʻE Sihova, te u fakamālō kiate koe ʻi he ʻao ʻoe kakai: pea te u hiva fakamālō kiate koe ʻi he ngaahi puleʻanga.
4For your steadfast love is great above the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
4He ʻoku lahi hoʻo ʻaloʻofa ʻo māʻolunga hake ʻi he ngaahi langi: mo hoʻo moʻoni ʻoku aʻu atu ki he ngaahi ʻao.
5Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!
5ʻE ʻOtua, ke māʻolunga lahi hake koe ʻi he ngaahi langi: pea ke māʻolunga hake ho nāunau ʻi māmani kotoa pē;
6That your beloved ones may be delivered, give salvation by your right hand and answer me!
6Koeʻuhi ke hao ʻaia ʻoku ke ʻofa ai ke ke fakamoʻui ʻaki ho nima toʻomataʻu, ʻo talia au.
7God has promised in his holiness: “With exultation I will divide up Shechem and portion out the Valley of Succoth.
7Kuo folofola ʻae ʻOtua ʻi heʻene māʻoniʻoni; te u fiefia, “Te u vaeua ʻa Sikemi, ʻo fuofua ʻae luo ʻo Sukote.
8Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my scepter.
8ʻOku ʻoʻoku ʻa Kiliati; ʻoku ʻoʻoku mo Manase; ko hono mālohi foki ʻo hoku ʻulu ʻa ʻIfalemi; ko ʻeku fai fono ʻa Siuta.
9Moab is my washbasin; upon Edom I cast my shoe; over Philistia I shout in triumph.”
9Ko ʻeku ipu kaukauʻanga ʻa Moape; te u lī hoku topuvaʻe ki ʻolunga ki ʻItomi; te u vikiviki koeʻuhi ko Filisitia.”
10Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
10Ko hai te ne ʻomi au ki he kolo mālohi? Ko hai te ne aʻutaki au ki ʻItomi?
11Have you not rejected us, O God? You do not go out, O God, with our armies.
11ʻE ʻOtua, ʻe ʻikai, te ke fai ia, ʻa koe kuo ke liʻaki ʻakimautolu? Pea ʻikai te ke ʻalu atu, ʻE ʻOtua, mo ʻemau ngaahi kautau?
12Oh grant us help against the foe, for vain is the salvation of man!
12Ke ke tuku kiate kimautolu ʻae tokoni ʻi he mamahi: he ʻoku taʻeʻaonga ʻae tokoni ʻae tangata.
13With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes.
13Ko e meʻa ʻi he ʻOtua te tau fai mālohi ai: he ko ia ia te ne malaki hifo hotau ngaahi fili.
