Saame 141

1O LORD, I call upon you; hasten to me! Give ear to my voice when I call to you!
1‌ʻE SIHOVA, ʻoku ou tangi kiate koe: ke ke haʻu vave kiate au; fakafanongo ki hoku leʻo, ʻo kau ka tangi kiate koe.
2Let my prayer be counted as incense before you, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice!
2Ke aʻu atu ʻeku lotu ki ho ʻao ʻo hangē ko e meʻa namu kakala; mo e hiki hake ʻo hoku nima ʻo hangē ko e feilaulau ʻoe efiafi.
3Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips!
3‌ʻE Sihova, fakanofo ʻae leʻo ki hoku ngutu; tauhi ʻae matapā ʻo hoku loungutu.
4Do not let my heart incline to any evil, to busy myself with wicked deeds in company with men who work iniquity, and let me not eat of their delicacies!
4‌ʻOua naʻa ueʻi hoku loto ki ha meʻa kovi ʻe taha, ke fai ʻae ngaahi ngāue kovi mo e kau tangata ʻoku fai kovi: pea ʻoua naʻa tuku ke u kai ʻi heʻenau ngaahi meʻa lelei.
5Let a righteous man strike me—it is a kindness; let him rebuke me—it is oil for my head; let my head not refuse it. Yet my prayer is continually against their evil deeds.
5Ke taaʻi au ʻe he angatonu; pea ko e ʻofa ia: pea tuku ke ne valokiʻi au; ko e lolo lelei ia, ʻaia ʻe ʻikai foa ai hoku ʻulu: he ko ʻeku lotu foki ʻe fai ia ʻi heʻenau ngaahi mamahi.
6When their judges are thrown over the cliff, then they shall hear my words, for they are pleasant.
6‌ʻOka hinga ʻenau kau fakamaau ʻi he ngaahi potu tokatāmaki, tenau fanongo ki heʻeku ngaahi lea; he ʻoku melie ia.
7As when one plows and breaks up the earth, so shall our bones be scattered at the mouth of Sheol.
7Kuo movetevete hotau ngaahi hui ʻi he ngutu ʻoe faʻitoka, ʻo hangē ko e taaʻi ʻo mafahi ʻe he taha ʻae ʻakau ʻi he funga ʻoe fonua.
8But my eyes are toward you, O GOD, my Lord; in you I seek refuge; leave me not defenseless!
8Ka ʻoku hanga hoku mata kiate koe, ʻE Sihova ko e ʻEiki: ʻoku ou falala kiate koe; ʻoua naʻa ke siʻaki hoku laumālie.
9Keep me from the trap that they have laid for me and from the snares of evildoers!
9Taʻofi au mei he ngaahi tauhele kuo nau ʻai kiate au, mo e ngaahi meʻa fakauʻu, ʻae kakai fai kovi.
10Let the wicked fall into their own nets, while I pass by safely.
10Tuku ke ʻae angahala ki he ngaahi kupenga ʻanautolu, ʻi he lolotonga ʻo ʻeku hao mei ai.
