Saame 87

1On the holy mount stands the city he founded;
1KO hono tuʻunga ʻoku ʻi he ngaahi moʻunga māʻoniʻoni.
2the LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwelling places of Jacob.
2‌ʻOku ʻofa lahi hake ʻa Sihova ki he ngaahi matapā ʻo Saione, ʻi he ngaahi nofoʻanga kotoa ʻo Sēkope.
3Glorious things of you are spoken, O city of God.Selah
3‌ʻA e kolo ʻoe ʻOtua, ʻoku talanoa ʻaki ʻae ngaahi meʻa ongoongolelei ʻiate koe. Sila.
4Among those who know me I mention Rahab and Babylon; behold, Philistia and Tyre, with Cush — “This one was born there,” they say.
4“Te u fakahā ʻa Lehapi mo Papilone kiate kinautolu ʻoku ʻiloʻi au: vakai, ko Filisitia, mo Taia, mo ʻItiopea; “naʻe fanauʻi ʻi ai ʻae tangata ni.”
5And of Zion it shall be said, “This one and that one were born in her”; for the Most High himself will establish her.
5Pea ʻe lau pehē ki Saione, “Ko e tangata ni mo e tangata na naʻe fanauʻi ʻi ai”: pea ʻe fakatuʻumaʻu ia ʻe he Fungani Māʻolunga.
6The LORD records as he registers the peoples, “This one was born there.”Selah
6‌ʻE lau ʻe Sihova, ʻi heʻene tohi ʻae kakai, “ko e tangata ni naʻe fanauʻi ʻi ai.” Sila.
7Singers and dancers alike say, “All my springs are in you.”
7‌ʻE ʻi ai fakatouʻosi ʻae kau hiva mo e kau pulotu ʻoe ngaahi meʻa faiva: “ko ʻeku ngaahi matavai kotoa ʻoku ʻiate koe.”
